We have made an effort to create an eclectic place, with many faces and influences. A place where you can sleep and eat, work, create, shop, meet, ... We want to keep it evolving as opportunities arise and interests grow. We see Pilar as a platform for the future, focused on bringing people together. We are proud to be housed in a historic corner building overlooking the Art Museum, as the museum has always been crucial for the Southern District and Antwerp. In recent decades, this part of Antwerp has grown into a hot spot for the arts with many museums and galleries. The creativity of the environment inspires what you find on your plate as well as on the walls. For a long time, the district was a forgotten part of the city of Antwerp, but in recent decades Zuid Suður has grown into what is now a very attractive area for locals and visitors. Well-established residences, wide courtyards, beautiful fields and many well-visited cafes and restaurants give it the Parisian vibe we love so much.
