Kostakis Beach is a newly built hotel (apartment complex) situated at Gerani beach only 14km away from Chania and 3km from Platanias. The hotel is located in the middle of Gerani. It's built exactly in front of the sea and its friendly, family atmosphere makes it ideal for quiet and relaxing holidays. Our hotel consists of 40 apartments with sea view. At the reception area you can request safe deposit boxes and internet access. The outdoor space includes swimming pool, children pool, pool bar, snack bar, restaurant and mini market, all these right in front of the famous Gerani beach (awarded the blue flag by the EEC).

Territory

Eco-Room or Economy-room: These rooms are for you who prefer the cheapest solution, at the same time they are for you who are flexible in relation to the fact that these rooms may differ from the pictures shown on the website. In some cases, they may differ in terms of location, decor, size and facilities compared to what is described in the hotel text. Including whether there is a balcony. A balcony is generally only guaranteed if it is stated in the name of the room itself, eg "Double Room with Balcony".

Off-season: Travel For example, outside the normal summer season, which typically runs from April to October, there may be facilities that are not open. It is up to each individual hotel whether these are open or not.

Fees: Unless we have specifically written "free" in the hotel text about e.g. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, safe box, etc., there will normally be fees that are paid directly to the hotel.

Check-in / check-out: Upon arrival, you can expect check-in at 14. Check-out is usually at 12, some hotels have an earlier check-out (ask at reception).

In some hotels, it is possible to rent your room for longer against direct payment.

Ecotax: In several destinations, the authorities charge an "ECOTAX". The income from this is used to neutralize the increased CO2 emissions caused by the tourism industry. The tax is paid by all overnight tourists and is calculated based on the hotel's category. The amount is typically somewhere between 1-5 euros per person over the age of 16 per night. Unfortunately, this is not something that we as a travel agency can include in the price of the trip, as it is only the accommodation that must collect and settle on to the authorities. Settlement mostly takes place at check-out, but can also be at check-in.

Miljøafgift

I Grækenland opkræver myndighederne en miljøafgift. Beløbet afhænger af opholdets længde samt hotellets officielle klassificering. Afgiften betales direkte til hotellet ved ind- eller udtjekning og er ikke inkluderet i rejsens pris. Bemærk, at nogle hoteller kun accepterer kontant betaling.

Eco-room eller økonomiværelse: Denne værelsestype er for jer, der prioriterer den lavest mulige pris og samtidig er fleksible. Eco‑rooms kan afvige fra de billeder, der vises på hjemmesiden, og kan i nogle tilfælde variere i forhold til beliggenhed, indretning, størrelse og faciliteter sammenlignet med det, der er beskrevet i hotelteksten.

Ydersæson: Rejser I uden for den normale sommersæson, som typisk strækker sig fra april til oktober, kan visse faciliteter være lukkede. Det er altid det enkelte hotel, der afgør, hvilke faciliteter der er åbne i ydersæsonen.

Gebyrer: Medmindre det specifikt er angivet som “gratis” i hotelbeskrivelsen, må der påregnes gebyrer for eksempelvis Wi‑Fi, aircondition, safebox m.m. Disse betales som udgangspunkt direkte til hotellet.

Check-in / check-out: Check-in kan som regel forventes fra kl. 14.00 på ankomstdagen. Check-out er oftest kl. 12.00, men enkelte hoteller har tidligere check-out – dette kan oplyses i receptionen. På nogle hoteller er det muligt at forlænge opholdet på værelset mod direkte betaling.
