Is located by the harbour in Hofn in Hornafjordur. It can feel the sheer force of nature alongside Europe's largest glacier, the 8,100 km2 expanse of Vatnajokull, which covers 8% of Iceland. Next to it is the smaller Skálafellsjokull glacier. The nearby Skaftafell National Park is a must-see, as well as Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, the spectacular setting for the James Bond movie. Hotel Edda can offer everything from en suite rooms to sleeping bag accommodation and a great breakfast. The rooms at the hotel are comfortable and fully equipped. Guest can enjoy Humarhöfnin specializes in courses made from local food but with the main emphasis on lobster/langoustine. All raw materials on the menu are produced in the area and couldn´t be any fresher.
