The hotel opened its doors for the first time in 1967 in the Retiro district, one of the most vibrant and distinctive areas of the capital. Its carefully designed interior, decorated with a hint of the American and Classical British styles, creates an individual and highly sophisticated ambience.The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the renowned Parque del Retiro, from where the most prominent tourist and artistic areas of the capital can easily be reached: the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen Bornemisza Museums, the Madrid of the Austrias, Puerta de Alcala, Plaza Cibeles, etc.
