Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest. Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments, all room are newly renovated. A heated underground corridor connects the hotel to the neighbouring Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget, which features one of Europe's top health spas. A hot tub, 4 pools, and various saunas and beauty treatments can be enjoyed there. The diagnostic section features various therapeutic treatments. Guests can access the spa area free of charge. The Széchenyi Restaurant offers fine dining with magnificent views of the park. International, domestic and diet cuisine, with a wide selection of Hungary's best wines, are served. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed in summer on the terrace and in the garden. In the evenings, a gypsy orchestra provides entertainment. The classically furnished rooms overlook the Danube or the magnificent park. They are all air-conditioned and have a minibar.
