This hotel is located in the heart of the Georgian 'New Town'. From the hotel all the major visitor attractions and the main shopping area of Edinburgh is accessible within a few minutes' walk. The hotel itself is a conversion of an elegant Georgian building and many of the original features have been retained . The hotel has no restaurant or bar, with Scottish breakfast being served at Ricks Bar, located opposite the hotel.
